Week 6

We began the week by researching the phases of the moon.

In geography we assessed the advantages and disadvantages of public and private transport.

Our new quality text, Stickmen’s Guide to Engineering, facilitates cross curricular links with English as we analyse the features and language of information and explanation texts.

In history, the comparison of paintings of the view of Manchester from Kersal Moor in 1821 and 1857 gave us evidence of the enormity of the impact of the Industrial Revolution on people’s lives and the prosperity of Great Britain.

Our Jigsaw PSHE lesson began with us playing ‘Treasure Keeper’. This helped us to understand how rewards and consequences relate to our rights and responsibilities.
