Week 5

Hello Swallows!

Welcome to week 5!  Hasn't the weather been gorgeous!?  I hope you have been making the most of it and getting lots of fresh air.

Did you celebrate VE day?  If so, I would love to see some pictures!  We had a street party whilst still keeping to the social distancing rules.  My family and I had a lovely time spending some quality time with our neighbours which I'm sure I wouldn't have done if we hadn't been in lockdown.

We had jam and cream scones to eat and they were so yummy!  I'll let you into a little secret, we tried to make our own scones but we put too much baking powder in and they didn't taste the best!  Good job I had also bought some from the shop, so we had those as a back up!  We also made some bunting which really cheered up our street.

Did you dress up?  I managed to style my hair with a 'victory roll'.  I was quite proud of myself.  Have a look on google to find out what I mean.

Have a great week and remember to be kind to yourselves and do what you can.  If you have individual learning projects that you are enjoying then keep going with those. Plus, READ, READ, READ and READ some more!

Lots of love and hugs
