Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to all children, staff and families for their incredible support during this time. All students at home, and at school, have worked incredibly well this week. Well done to all!
In English we have been looking at the poem This is the Place, by Tony Walsh. The poem celebrates everything to do with Greater Manchester and is an inspirational ode to the region. Tony Walsh performed the poem in front of thousands of people at Albert Square at a vigil for victims of the Manchester Arena attack. As well as touching on historical events, the poem also celebrates the area’s great achievements in sport and music. The great spirit and determination of people from the area is passionately lauded.
In Maths pupils have been continuing their work on statistics, looking at reading and interpreting line graphs and drawing line graphs too.
