Welcome to Robins Class, our vibrant mixed Reception and Year 1 class at Altrincham CE Primary School. Led by Miss Todd, alongside our experienced teaching assistant Miss Priestley, we provide a nurturing, ambitious and exciting environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.

In Robins Class, we lay strong foundations for learning, ensuring that every child develops the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future success. Our mixed-age class offers many benefits, with younger children learning from older peers, while Year 1 children develop independence, responsibility and leadership skills. Together, they form a caring learning community where everyone is valued and supported.

We carefully blend the EYFS Early Learning Goals and the Year 1 National Curriculum, ensuring learning is matched to each child's age, stage and individual needs. Through play, exploration, direct teaching and meaningful experiences, children develop curiosity, resilience and a love of learning.
