Anti-Bullying
In 2023, we were thrilled to receive the United Against Bullying Silver Award in recognition of our work to reduce bullying and improve well-being. This is not an easy award programme, and we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved! For context, 331 schools completed the programme with only 2% achieving Gold, 14% Silver, 71% Bronze and 12% a certificate of participation.
Our call to action:
Too often, we are silent when we see bullying take place, silent about the hurt bullying causes, and silent when we hear bullying dismissed as ‘just banter’. It doesn't have to be this way. Of course, we won’t like everyone and we don’t always agree, but we can choose respect and unity.
At ACE, bullying is rare and not tolerated. We regularly have discussions about what bullying means to us, how banter can turn into something more hurtful, and what we can do to stop bullying.
Together, we make a difference and take a stand against bullying.
